Happy Birthday Gala! 🎉

Hey!

It’s been a while. How have you been?

I hope you’re well, and that you have a joyful birthday. I wish I could be there to celebrate you, but as I’m so far away, I’ve sent a couple of bits which hopefully convey a sense of jujuness, to stand in my stead.

🍯 Honey

I’ve not tried this myself, but I’m a big fan of honey and I wanted to send you something local. I’m worried that it will spill everywhere in the post, but I guess not worried enough to do anything about it like sealing it up… Anyway, it’s some nice local honey, I hope it will bring you some sunshine and joy.

🥃 Drink

I don’t think I’ve ever seen you drink, so this might be a strange choice. I think the idea is that I can’t be there to offer to buy you a drink, so I hope you and Ash will have one on me (or both for you I guess!). Also I just thought the cans were super cute and I love an Old Fashioned, so I hope you’ll think of me.

🫛 Peas

I got these at a local craft/maker’s market. I thought they were cute. I hope you like them, maybe they can just sit on a shelf or something, smiling down onto the room, all cosy and fuzzy.

I want to hear about Naples. The food! The buildings. I hear it can feel totally different to elsewhere in Italy, culturally. But I got that from a football documentary.

I want to hear everything you would care to say about anything!

I miss you. I hope you and Ash and Lu are happy and healthy.
