Hey megs.

Hope you’re well.
Also, happy birthday! 🎉

In this piece of post I have included your birthday gift (the book) and the fabled USB stick that I said I would send you all those many months ago (2 whole seasons ago 😨). In the time it’s taken me to send you it, the whole reason for sending it (so that you could watch the John Oliver series I was raving about) has been negated, because over Christmas I noticed both seasons of the the thing are now on iPlayer. So I added the film i was also raving about, which you might have since seen (“Everything Everywhere All At Once”) to try to make the gesture slightly less pointless. Oh and also this comedy series that I’ve only seen the first episode of but it made me sort of uncomfortable, which I reckon is a good sign. It’s unusual.

Please excuse the message written inside the book, I was in such a hurry to get it wrapped and posted before the Post Office closed that I think the message comes across as perhaps a little terse. What I meant was that the book is very much in my wheelhouse, and if there’s anyone else whose wheelhouse I think it may also be in, it’s yours. (I’ve decided not to edit that sentence).

Here’s a couple videos of me and panpan:

me and pancha, first time at the beach (first day of post vaccine freedom)

me and pancha at the park this weekend just gone, first time letting her be without holding onto her somehow

Anyway, I miss you loads and hopefully one of these birthdays we keep having can be spent together! That’s how it’s supposed to be done, right? I’ve seen it on telly.

Let me know what you think of the TV show when you get round to watching (if you haven’t already watched on iPlayer) and the book! I sneakily read a few pages on Sunday night and thought I should probably get a copy for myself 😅

Love you megs
juli ❤️
